His face is peaceful.
Perhaps it should be joyful
or laughing
or playful
but peaceful is ok I suppose.
His legs are still.
They should be running,
His hands are small.
So small.
So peaceful, so still,
So small.
Mr. Erikson was right
when he told us where injustice hides:
it hides in the too still hands
of a too small boy
who should be sleeping in a crib
but rests in a box.
